RTO Legislative Activity - Rent-to-Own Bill Co-sponsorsH.R. 1588 and S. 881 - The Consumer Rental Purchase Agreement Act of 2011 provides consumer disclosures while recognizing rent-to-own as a lease in the marketplace. The bill mirrors 47 state rent-to-own laws and offers the proper balance between consumer protections and small business competition.
