Fort Worth residents can enjoy ColorTyme once again thanks to Justin Jordan, the new store’s manager and operating partner.

With 10 years of industry experience and a former manager of rent-to-own stores in Lubbock, College Station, Comanche and Eastland, Texas, Jordan is thrilled to open the doors of his first ColorTyme.

“I’ve always wanted to run a store of my own, and I feel that ColorTyme is the perfect fit for me,” said Jordan. “I really like the local, hometown feel that comes with the ColorTyme brand, and I know our customers will too.”

The new store, located at 9116 Camp Bowie West Blvd., offers a wide selection of furniture, appliances, computers, electronics and more. ColorTyme offers customers flexible payment options to get name-brand products they need without a credit check. In addition, service, delivery and set-up are included at no extra charge.

Jordan is positive Fort Worth customers will experience better quality and service in a rent-to-own franchise that is locally owned and operated.

“I have a lot of pride in this community because it’s where I live and raise my family. People here should get more out of their rent-to-own experience, so it’s important to me that we are giving them our support and attention 100 percent of the time,” he said. “Our customers can expect well-trained personnel who know the products inside and out and who are willing to go the extra mile to make our customers happy with true Texas hometown service.”

ColorTyme Fort Worth opened July 29th and plans to celebrate its opening with a family-oriented grand opening event to take place on Saturday, September 17th.

Who Is Your Competition?

by Bill Keese

In order to expand your customer base, you can learn a lot by observing your competitors. But first, you need to figure out just who they are. If you think your only competition is the rent-to-own store down the street, you’re not considering the bigger picture. APRO’s executive director offers a big-picture perspective.

A Review of Online Customer Complaints

by Ed Winn III

While rent-to-own companies have not cornered the market on negative reviews posted on consumer complaint websites, it’s no surprise that there are cyberspace beefs against RTO. APRO’s general counsel reviews some of them in search of a pattern and he considers appropriate response to online complaints.
